MUSIC FOR A TREE, Venice

On July 19th, the artists Alberto Bharto, Marco Scaramuzza, and Gioele Pellegrini performed in the „Arena for a Tree.“ As the highlight of the evening, musician Gioele Pellegrini presented his original piece „Some other Castaway“ for the first time, which he dedicated to the three bald cypresses. It was an unforgettable evening, filled with music and poetry. Moments like these remind us of the beauty in sharing and being touched by art. I wholeheartedly thank all three musicians for one of the most beautiful memories I will carry with me from the „Arena for a Tree“ in Venice.

Alberto Bharto, a Venetian singer-songwriter, conveys themes of love, relationships, and loneliness through a direct, awareness-driven language. He released his debut EP “Grattando la superfice” in 2021 and is preparing to release his first album, “Zone d’Ombra.”

Marco Scaramuzza, based in Cannaregio, Venice, has turned his home into a hub for musicians and friends. Influenced by years of theater, he crafts lyrics with careful attention and uses his voice to create evocative imagery. Since 2021, he has organized intimate concerts in Venice and collaborates with artists from various disciplines for artistic events.

ananke.yes, a project by Gioele Pellegrini, features a self-taught guitarist, singer, and pianist using a loop station, keyboard, and drum pad. His songs, in both Italian and English, aim to capture fleeting truths through poetry, comedy, and tragedy. Currently based in Mestre, he released a live session called “The Underwood Session” and is working on new audiovisual material.
